Clark is a qualified Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) and Chiropractic Orthopedist (DABCO and FCCO(C)) licensed to practice in British Columbia. He has been in continuous practice of Chiropractic in Victoria since 1997. Clark was raised and has lived most of his life in Victoria. In addition to his energetic and fun practice, he serves as a Governor of the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board, which is responsible for process of the licensure of Chiropractors in Canada.
Clark also is a second year resident of the three-year Specialty College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences degree leading to the Canadian Olympic Committee recognized (FCCSS(C)) sports specialty degree. Clark works hard to balance a busy practice, life-long learning, teaching and research. He has authored, presented at conferences and published several papers on the subject of sports related musculoskeletal dysfunction in the peer reviewed medical literature. In addition to his private practice, Clark is also a civilian Chiropractor at the Hospital at Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt where he has been employed for seven years. Finally, Clark is the primary instructor of the biology, chemistry, statistics and research methods courses at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, in Victoria, BC.
Clark is rigorously and specifically trained in the assessment, diagnosis and conservative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries- that is the bones, joints, soft tissues and nerves. He has a full nine years of postgraduate level training in the above with a particular emphasis on management of spinal, orthopedic and sports injury. Clark regularly works at high performance and elite sporting events as event medical staff. He works well in groups and is a dedicated team player, making sure that all his patients are actively involved in their recovery. Clark sees himself as making a significant contribution to your health care because of his unique background that includes the aspects of education, experience, athlete treatment, teaching and research. Clark is well liked and respected by his colleagues, patients and students. Kim is a Registered Massage Therapist licensed to practice in British Columbia. She has been in continuous practice in Victoria since 1995.
Kim is the only Certified Sport Massage Therapist with the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association (CSMTA) on Vancouver Island and one of three in British Columbia. She has a Physical Education Degree from Brock University (1993) and a Diploma of Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in Ontario (1995).
Kim works with many athletes including Rugby (National and Provincial), Athletics (National), Triathlon (National), and the Victoria Salmon Kings ECHL hockey team. Other athletes in Kim’s care participate in gymnastics, marathon, rowing, swimming, volleyball, badminton, and curling.

Since 2002, Kim has been a clinic supervisor at the West Coast College of Massage (Victoria Campus). She is the President of the BC Chapter of the CSMTA and has sat on the Executive Committee since 2002. She has also been a Board Member of SportMed BC since 2003 and she is involved with the organiziation of the Host Massage Therapy for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
Kim is an active participant in all aspects of life and has excelled at many sports including volleyball, badminton, athletics, ringette, and rowing. In her spare time she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and hockey.
Kim works hard to balance being a mother of two, a busy practice, continuing education, and professional committee involvement.

Louise became registered in both Ontario and BC 20 years ago, and has enjoyed practising as a massage therapist ever since. In that time she has also served as a director on the board of the College of Massage Therapists of BC (the regulatory body for BC RMTs) and co-edited the BC Massage Practitioner Journal for a year. For the past few years Louise has been a principal instructor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and a supervisor at the student clinic as well as continuing with her clinical practice at Victoria West Chiropractic and Massage Therapy. Apart from her work, Louise enjoys cycling, yoga, dance, personal fitness and photography. |

Lucinda is a Registered Massage Therapist with a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy of Victoria BC. Originally from Houston, a small rural town northern BC, Lucinda moved to Victoria in 2002 to successfully complete the 3,300 hour program in Massage Therapy. Living on the West Coast has sparked her interest in rockclimbing, running and yoga! Lucinda is enthusiastic about her practice, where she enjoys treating a variety of conditions such as headaches, ICBC injuries to general neck and back tension. Lucinda believes in customizing her treatments to fit each patients needs. She utilizes both deep tissue and lighter techniques and suggests remedial exercises to help patients speed their way to recovery. Lucinda’s main treatment focus is to help her patients feel better! |

Shandri is a Registered Massage Therapist and a Certified Golf Biomechanic. Growing up in Victoria, BC she takes advantage of living on the west coast by biking and running in her spare time. In her practice, she enjoys working with people who are motivated to improve their physical function therefore preventing injuries and increasing their quality of life.
Shandri studied golf biomechanics in San Diego, California. Her training allows her to work with the golfer to provide a specific conditioning program to suit the individual’s needs. She believes that golf is a highly athletic sport that requires physical conditioning, not just a new set of clubs. A program that combines flexibility, stability and strength can lower handicaps as well as prevent injury. |

Barb is a Registered Massage Therapist with a degree from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, Vancouver (1985).
Barb offers a holistic approach to Massage Therapy. She has worked in conjunction with Chiropractors, Naturopaths, Acupuncturists, and Midwives.
Barb considers relaxation a necessary part of the healing process. Part of her technique is to sink into the soft tissues as they allow the pressure – without forcing.

Sarah has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since April 2006, after successfully completing the 3000-hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Her first career opportunity took her north of Vancouver Island to work at the Spa and Wellness Center located at the Sonora Resort and Fishing Lodge. This opportunity solidified Sarah’s belief in the therapeutic value of relaxation and the role it can play in conjunction with the treatment techniques of a massage therapist in a clinic environment.
Sarah has been a part of the team at VWCMT clinic since November 2006 when she was a locum for a few of the massage therapists before taking on her own shifts in February. She is currently building up her practice with the intentions of bringing relief and comfort to people’s lives through massage therapy.

Melissa is a registered acupuncturist with a diploma from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
For the past 7 years Melissa has been a bootcamp instructor with Body Dynamics. Fitness has always been a very important aspect of Melissa's life, whether it be mountain biking, snow boarding, running, hiking or leading a fitness class. Melissa always tries to incorporate her knowledge of fitness and dietary therapy with acupuncture treatments allowing her patients to achieve their ultimate goal.
Melissa is very happy to be a part of VWCMT and looks forward to working with the other professionals to improve the health and well being of clients.
